Responsibilities
The IT Systems Lead reports directly to the VP/General Manager and is tasked with maintaining reliable, secure, and well-documented IT systems that support our client’s manufacturing and business operations. Responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure, cyber security monitoring, and system administration, ensuring that technology platforms function efficiently and securely. Key technology initiatives include supporting the ERP migration from Sage 300 to SYSPRO. The position may involve occasional off-hours work for system maintenance, upgrades, or incident response.
Requirements
Qualifications for this role include: – 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration or systems management with exposure to cyber security operations – Strong knowledge of Windows Server environment – Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, identity and access management, and MFA – Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls – Familiarity with endpoint security, vulnerability management, and incident response – Experience coordinating IT projects and working with vendors or managed service providers – Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills – Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
