About the role
- Lead Front End Developer contract in Toronto, building scalable UI solutions and new products for a core banking platform with a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Exciting contract position with Lead Front End Developer in Toronto, ON with experience in building highly scalable UI solutions based on a micro services architecture. You will have the opportunity of a lifetime to build new products from scratch. You will be working with a highly skilled cross functional team to enhance our core banking platform. Candidate needs to be in Canada with valid work visa willing to attend office when needed.
Requirements
- Front-end development experience and knowledge of Javascript modern frameworks like React or Vue.js. Experience writing and working with REST APIs. Familiarity with automated build pipelines; continuous integration or continuous delivery. Proven experience using code repositories such as GitHub. Demonstrated ability to work closely with UX designers and Product owners to deliver the best UX for our customers. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code using automated tests for unit tests and end-to-end tests (using Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
