About the role
- Power BI Report Developer to migrate SSRS reports to Power BI, build data models, and create interactive dashboards. Hybrid role in Courtice, ON with flexible remote options.
Responsibilities
- Migrate existing SSRS reports to Power BI. Build and maintain efficient, scalable data models using best practices (star schema). Design interactive dashboards and reports on the Power BI Service. Perform ETL tasks: extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources. Troubleshoot and optimize data queries and report performance. Collaborate with stakeholders and team members in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Advanced Power BI experience (Power BI Service, Power Query / M). Strong SQL skills (T-SQL, query optimization). Expertise in data modeling, ETL, and report development. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in source control and ticketing systems.
