About the role
- Quality Engineering Tester needed for API and data validation in banking. Execute testing strategies to ensure system integrity and performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct API testing including functional and integration testing, perform data validation using SQL, validate batch processing systems, review application logs, execute manual and automated test cases, develop test scenarios, collaborate in Agile teams, and track defects.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in Quality Engineering or Testing within banking or financial services. Strong expertise in API testing (REST services), proficient in SQL, experience with batch systems and file-based data processing, knowledge of banking domain processes, hands-on Agile/Scrum experience, familiarity with ETL processes, ability to independently execute test scripts, and strong analytical skills.
