About the role
- Senior Full-Stack Engineer for fast-growing startup building data platform. High ownership role with hybrid work in Toronto (3 days/week in office).
Responsibilities
- One of the first engineers beyond the founding team reporting directly to the CTO. Owning systems end-to-end (architecture → build → deploy → monitor), influencing core technical decisions, and mentoring junior engineers while remaining hands-on.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years professional engineering experience. Strong startup/high-growth product background. True full-stack capability (frontend + backend). Production ownership (monitoring, debugging, performance). Systems thinking (caching, async behavior, race conditions). Comfortable working hybrid in downtown Toronto.
Benefits
