About the role
- Senior Guidewire Developer role designing and developing Guidewire applications, integrating systems, and collaborating with teams. Requires 9+ years of Guidewire experience and strong integration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and configure Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter). Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Customize Guidewire modules using Gosu scripting and Java. Integrate Guidewire systems with external applications (APIs, web services). Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. Support system upgrades, enhancements, and production issues. Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in Guidewire development, with a focus on integrations. Strong hands-on experience with: Guidewire Integration Framework, Gosu programming, SOAP/REST Web Services, XML, XSD, JSON. Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, JMS, MQ, etc.). Solid understanding of P&C Insurance domain. Experience with Guidewire Cloud or on-prem implementations. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 7+ years of work experience with Guidewire.
