Responsibilities
- We are hiring a Senior Hogan Developer (CIS & PEM Specialist) for a hybrid role in the GTA, Ontario. The role involves working with Hogan Core Banking systems, particularly CIS/CIF and PEM, developing and maintaining mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, IMS, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and enterprise schedulers like CA-7. Responsibilities include analyzing, enhancing, and supporting customer information systems, managing batch jobs and job streams, troubleshooting production issues, and performing unit and integration testing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of mainframe development experience; 5+ years of hands-on experience with Hogan Core Banking, especially Hogan CIS/CIF; strong experience with Hogan PEM; strong hands-on development experience with COBOL in batch and online environments (CICS / IMS); experience with IMS DB, IMS DC, DB2, VSAM, JCL, and mainframe technologies; experience analyzing, enhancing, and supporting Hogan customer information systems and processing flows; experience developing and maintaining batch jobs, job streams, and scheduling processes; experience with enterprise schedulers such as CA-7 and batch operations; experience troubleshooting production issues, performance problems, and defect resolution; familiarity with Hogan modules including CIF/CIS, DDA/TDA, Umbrella, and RPM is preferred; experience with unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation; strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills; banking domain experience is required.
