Systems Testing/QA Specialist role focusing on performance & load testing for Ontario Public Sector client. Long - term onsite contract in Toronto starting April 2026.
About the role
- Senior QA Engineer for remote contract role. Requires expertise in Java Spring Boot, Angular, Couchbase, MS SQL Server, and various testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Senior QA Engineer role supporting remote contract opportunity. Responsibilities include leading QE efforts, owning test strategy, mentoring QA team members, and performing manual, automation, API, and performance & stress testing. Requires strong automation-first mindset and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Requirements
- 3+ years with Java & Spring Boot, 3+ years with Angular UI testing, 2+ years with Couchbase (NoSQL, RBAC, SDK testing), 2+ years with MS SQL Server, 5+ years across Manual, Automation, API, and Performance Testing. Hands-on experience with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Playwright. Expertise in API testing (REST/SOAP – Postman, Swagger, SOAP UI). Solid background in performance & stress testing (JMeter, Dynatrace, Nexthink). Nice to have: Mobile test automation experience.
