About the role
- Senior Software Developer (Power BI) contract in Toronto, Ontario. Must have 10+ years BI development experience and strong Power BI skills.
Responsibilities
- We are actively hiring for the position of RQ10970 – Senior Software Developer (Power BI) for our prestigious client, Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement, Ontario. This is an onsite contract role in Toronto until March 31, 2027 with immediate start.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Software Development / BI Development; strong expertise in Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service; advanced DAX & Power Query (M Language); MS SQL Server & Data Modeling (Star Schema, Fact & Dimension Tables); ETL Development (SSIS, Informatica ETL, Azure Data Factory); Dashboard Development & Performance Optimization; Row-Level Security (RLS) & Data Governance; Microsoft Fabric & Azure Analytics; experience with Data Warehousing & BI Best Practices; strong stakeholder communication skills; PL-300 Power BI Data Analyst Certification (Preferred).
