About the role
- Senior UI/UX Performance Engineer specializing in Angular SPA optimization and Akamai CDN performance tuning. Owns UX performance KPIs and drives improvements across digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Lead performance tuning for Angular-based SPA, ensuring optimal rendering, responsiveness, and smooth interactions. Define, track, and maintain comprehensive UX performance KPI framework. Work closely with Akamai administrators to optimize CDN configurations, caching, edge logic, and delivery strategies. Guide Angular teams on best practices for component-level optimization, async strategies, and bundle size reduction. Act as performance SME across UI, backend, infrastructure, and platform teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in front-end engineering, performance engineering, or UX engineering. Deep hands-on expertise in Angular (v8+), SPA architecture, RxJS, and TypeScript. Proven experience tuning Web Vitals and advanced front-end performance metrics. Strong experience working with Akamai CDN, including configuration, caching, edge logic, and performance optimizations. Expertise using performance measurement tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest, RUM tools, APM tools). Strong understanding of browser internals, rendering pipelines, JavaScript performance profiling, and network optimization. Ability to own KPIs, define measurable objectives, and drive execution across engineering teams.
