About the role
- Develop automation tools for operations teams using JavaScript, VBA, and SQL Server. Contract role in Toronto.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance solutions used by operations teams to automate business processes. Write and support front-end functionality using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Build and maintain backend logic using VBA. Optimize SQL Server queries and stored procedures. Create and update MS Access and MS Excel solutions, including macros. Implement and support API methods. Participate in Agile development activities. Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements. Present and demo solution functionality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of code development experience and SDLC experience. Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Strong backend skills: VBA. Solid database skills: SQL Server, optimizing queries, and working with stored procedures. Proficiency with MS Access and MS Excel, including macros. Experience with API methods. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong demo/presentation skills.
