About the role
- Senior Micro Focus COBOL Developer with expertise in Mainframe technologies, DB2/SQL, and DevOps. Hybrid role in Mississauga requiring application development, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using Microfocus. Work independently on Microfocus IDE developing code. Analyze complex datasets to identify mapping needs, data matching criteria, and communicate with stakeholders. Develop, plan and execute test strategies. Collaborate with Cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of MICROFOCUS. Excellent exposure on Mainframe: COBOL, VSAM files, JCL. Strong understanding on DB2 and SQL. Great exposure and understanding of DEVOPS – Git, jenkins, CI/CD pipelines. Good analytical ability. Good to have: Knowledge on INGENIUM software.
