- Senior Project Manager with Wealth Management expertise needed for hybrid role in Toronto/London, ON. Lead complex projects using Agile/Waterfall methodologies with $96/hr contract rate.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-risk, enterprise-level projects delivering measurable business value within the Wealth Management portfolio. Partner with senior/executive stakeholders to define scope, develop charters, and align strategic objectives. Build and manage comprehensive project plans: budgets, schedules, resource strategies, risks, and delivery approaches. Apply strong business, technical, and financial acumen to ensure solutions meet Wealth Management needs. Oversee end-to-end project execution using Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, or Hybrid methodologies. Manage complex stakeholder relationships and drive effective communication and decision-making. Ensure governance compliance, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and accurate reporting through Book of Record systems. Support change readiness, transition to operations, and post-implementation reviews. Promote continuous improvement and contribute to elevating project management practices across the organization.
Requirements
- 5–10 years managing medium-to-large projects/programs of varying complexity. 5–10 years’ experience in Wealth Management (strongly emphasized). Post-secondary education in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field—or equivalent experience. Industry certifications such as PMP or Prince2 (asset). Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Iterative methodologies. Hands-on experience with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint. Demonstrated ability to assess and manage complex risks. Experience leading teams and engaging senior-level stakeholders. Ability to use Book of Record systems for tracking, reporting, and lifecycle governance. Accept a background check.
