About the role
- Systems Testing/QA Specialist role focusing on performance & load testing for Ontario Public Sector client. Long-term onsite contract in Toronto starting April 2026.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with client application teams to gather technical requirements for load testing. Design and execute application load & performance tests. Create load testing scripts based on technical requirements. Perform testing on Cloud & Multi-Tier (Web/App/DB) environments. Act as performance test liaison between client and testing teams. Execute virtual user load tests in selected environments. Provide detailed performance test reports. Recommend performance tuning & right-sizing improvements. Troubleshoot performance issues and compare system configurations. Share knowledge and best practices with in-house testing teams.
Requirements
- 5–9 years of performance & load testing experience in large, complex organizations. Strong understanding of application flows and system architectures. Hands-on experience with Cloud and n-Tier environments. Experience gathering functional & non-functional test requirements. Proven expertise in application load testing methodologies. Strong VuGen scripting skills including: Correlation, Parameterization, Data extraction, Script peer reviews.
