About the role

  • Remote Marketing Virtual Assistant creating branded mortgage social media content for global clients. Scheduling approved posts, repurposing materials, and supporting compliance-sensitive marketing execution.

Responsibilities

  • Turn client-provided ideas, knowledge, and existing materials into social media content
  • Create branded graphics and basic social media assets
  • Write and refine captions and supporting copy
  • Repurpose existing content into multiple social formats
  • Assist with basic short-form content where appropriate
  • Maintain consistency with the client’s professional brand
  • Maintain an organized content calendar
  • Prepare content for client and compliance approval
  • Schedule and publish approved content
  • Organize photos, videos, graphics, templates, and marketing assets
  • Track content awaiting approval or publication
  • Help maintain a consistent posting cadence
  • Assist with basic social media engagement as directed
  • Identify incoming inquiries or potential leads for client follow-up
  • Suggest practical content ideas based on available client materials
  • Support additional digital marketing activities as the client’s needs develop
  • Deliver high-quality, task-specific marketing services under an independent contractor agreement
  • Work Monday through Friday for 10 hours per week, with daily working time to be determined in EST
  • Report to a point of contact to be determined

Requirements

  • Previous social media management or content creation experience required
  • Canva or similar graphic design experience required
  • Strong written English communication required
  • Experience creating content for professional service businesses preferred
  • Mortgage, real estate, or financial services marketing experience preferred
  • Social media scheduling experience preferred
  • Basic short-form video/content repurposing experience is a plus
  • Experience working within regulated or compliance-sensitive industries is a plus
  • Creative with strong social media execution skills
  • Able to turn existing information into polished content
  • Strong written English and copywriting ability
  • Organized and consistent with content deadlines
  • Good eye for clean, professional branding
  • Comfortable working within an approval process
  • Proactive without requiring responsibility for the client’s overall marketing strategy
  • Knowledge of Canva, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, social media scheduling platforms, Google Workspace/Microsoft Office
  • AI content tools preferred
  • Availability for 10 contracted hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • English spoken language preference
  • Strong written English communication; accent preference Level A-C
