About the role

  • Onsite operational leader for offshore wind turbine service activities at Empire Wind project. Provides supervision and ensures compliance with safety and operational requirements while maintaining turbine performance.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the SOV Shift Manager, the Offshore Shift Supervisor is the on-site operational leader for offshore wind turbine service activities
  • This role provides direct supervision of offshore technicians servicing and maintaining the V236 turbine fleet and holds day-to-day responsibility for safe work execution
  • Ensure offshore operations are planned, controlled, and executed in compliance with safety requirements, customer expectations, and company standards
  • Act as the primary offshore operational interface between the customer, SOV crew, site leadership, and field technicians during active shifts
  • Monitor weather forecasts continuously and assess operational impacts on transfers, turbine access, and task execution
  • Organize and coordinate vessel and O&M crew transfers, ensuring personnel safety, logistical readiness, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • Electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic experience with a strong desire to further develop skills in these fields
  • Must have completed TBC 300 Core & Specific tasks on any platform or be recognized as an A-Level Technician
  • Must be nominated as an AT-LT, or have a reasonable path to achieving AT-LT status within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a commercial–industrial mechanical or electrical environment, preferably with wind turbines
  • Strong understanding of VOB SCADA operations and Toolkit
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and IT tools (smartphones, computers, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport, and willingness to travel.
