Project Coordinator supporting operations for underground utility infrastructure installations at Aecon. Collaborating with teams to ensure efficient and profitable execution of projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Schedule work crews and assist with site inspections and locates
Manage inventory, procure specialty materials/tools, and maintain small tool certifications
Track heavy equipment status, monitor idling/utilization reports, and correct misallocations
Maintain worker training matrix and oversee yard facility maintenance
Assist with vendor pricing agreements and subcontractor safety documentation
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards
Review Quality Assurance non-conformances and follow up with training
Organize yard materials/equipment and process incoming shipments
Analyze operational data and generate reports for customers
Deliver rush materials/tools to crews and perform other duties as required
Requirements
Recent graduate in Civil/Construction Technology
1-3 years of experience related to similar field
Utility construction experience is an asset
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Project
Strong communication and organizational skills; self-motivated and adaptable
Team-oriented with a valid driver’s license.
