- Project Coordinator supporting operations for underground utility infrastructure installations at Aecon. Collaborating with teams to ensure efficient and profitable execution of projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule work crews and assist with site inspections and locates
- Manage inventory, procure specialty materials/tools, and maintain small tool certifications
- Track heavy equipment status, monitor idling/utilization reports, and correct misallocations
- Maintain worker training matrix and oversee yard facility maintenance
- Assist with vendor pricing agreements and subcontractor safety documentation
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards
- Review Quality Assurance non-conformances and follow up with training
- Organize yard materials/equipment and process incoming shipments
- Analyze operational data and generate reports for customers
- Deliver rush materials/tools to crews and perform other duties as required
Requirements
- Recent graduate in Civil/Construction Technology
- 1-3 years of experience related to similar field
- Utility construction experience is an asset
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Project
- Strong communication and organizational skills; self-motivated and adaptable
- Team-oriented with a valid driver’s license.
