About the role

  • Senior Technical Account Manager implementing Airbyte’s data and action layer for AI agents. Guiding enterprise customers through technical adoption, integrations, and AI-ready data architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute customer technical projects, including implementation and deployment of Airbyte solutions
  • Ensure implementations align with client requirements and industry best practices
  • Guide customers throughout their customer journey with technical expertise and hands-on support
  • Troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, pods, networking, storage, resource management, and deployment issues in production
  • Troubleshoot complex data movement issues involving SQL, CDC, database replication, and data synchronization
  • Troubleshoot REST API integrations involving HTTP methods, OAuth, API keys, JWT, webhooks, and JSON
  • Advise customers on integrating LLM-based tooling with existing data infrastructure and Airbyte connectors
  • Work directly with clients’ technical teams to understand needs and tailor solutions
  • Collaborate with technical support, Product, and Engineering to address issues and deliver features
  • Help clients evaluate and adopt AI agent frameworks
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify and drive customer growth opportunities
  • Act as the internal source of truth for customer technical requirements and needed functionality
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap
  • Demonstrate Airbyte’s offerings and best practices to clients and at industry events
  • Serve as a brand ambassador and foster relationships with key stakeholders
  • Evangelize best practices for building AI-ready data stacks
  • Create and deliver technical content including blog posts, demos, and conference talks

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Technical Account Manager, resident solutions architect, professional services engineer, or consulting role
  • Deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments, including troubleshooting workloads, pods, networking, storage, resource allocation, and deployment issues
  • 2+ years of experience in a startup environment, ideally in modern data infrastructure, including cloud applications, databases, ELT tools, data warehouses or related fields
  • Hands-on experience with one or more AI frameworks
  • Exposure to AI agent frameworks and prompt engineering best practices is a strong plus
  • Proven track record of supporting products that directly impact business productivity
  • Exceptional customer orientation with a focus on delivering seamless onboarding and ongoing technical success
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Remote from Toronto, supporting East Coast Timezone
