About the role
- Vendor consultant optimizing casualty claims partnerships for Allstate Canada’s home and auto insurer. Managing performance, audits, forecasting, and strategic vendor expansion.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the business lead and subject matter expert for vendor management processes within Casualty Claims Operations
- Monitor and oversee vendor performance to ensure service level agreements, customer experience standards, and operational expectations are consistently achieved
- Develop, maintain, and report on vendor performance metrics, scorecards, and operational results
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and internal business partners
- Lead and manage change management initiatives across multiple operational areas, including vendor onboarding and offshore engagement activities
- Partner with vendors on workforce planning and resource management to support demand forecasts and maximize operational efficiency
- Coordinate vendor audits, reviews, and compliance activities to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and operational standards
- Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while balancing day-to-day operational priorities
- Review and address internal and external escalations related to vendor performance and service delivery
- Conduct regular business reviews with vendor partners to identify successes, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to optimize vendor value and operational effectiveness
- Identify opportunities for vendor program expansion and recommend innovative solutions that support business objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendor partners, procurement teams and business leaders to support expansion and optimization of the casualty vendor program
Requirements
- Experience in vendor management, operations, claims or a related business function
- Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor governance practices
- Accident Benefits and or Bodily Injury insurance industry experience, particularly within Claims Operations
- Experience managing vendor relationships and monitoring operational performance metrics
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and working with multiple stakeholders
- Experience presenting business results and recommendations to leadership teams
- Ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience with resource planning, forecasting, and performance management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management abilities
- Experience using Guidewire ClaimCenter or similar claims platforms
- CIP or working towards CIP, ACIP, CRM or FCIP designation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered
