Product Manager overseeing technology product lifecycle for Arc’teryx. Delivering roadmaps and collaborating across teams to optimize product creation.
Responsibilities
Owning the complete product lifecycle of a technology product
Enabling Merchant, Design & Product Creation teams to create the best products & assortments
Delivering the strategic product roadmap from discovery, design, vendor selection, delivery, and support
Leading through influence of a cross-functional agile product squad
Executing the 12–18 month roadmap and overseeing budget and resource allocation
Managing workload of the product's lifecycle from cradle to grave
Collaborating with business stakeholders, development teams, and/or vendors
Responsible for management of the product backlog, resourcing, work intake & prioritization
Ensuring process alignment and issue resolution
Developing empathy for the guest/end-user by incorporating Human Centered Design
Delivering regular and comprehensive product status reports to stakeholders and senior leaders
Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process, optimizing financial planning
Managing vendor relationships to ensure alignment with contractual agreements
Ensuring risk and issue management by maintaining a RAID log and effective strategies
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Project or Product Manager/Owner
3+ years of experience leading a team with diverse skill sets
Demonstrated success working in an agile methodology
Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO, etc.)
Implemented PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system features, upgrades and migrations
Experience within the apparel/gear/footwear/fashion industry
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
Exceptional ability to collaborate and contribute as a team player, with strong relationships
Excellent communication and influencing skills to explain, articulate, and document concepts
Strong organization and prioritization skills managing multiple, competing priorities
Excellent time management skills to plan ahead and meet deadlines
