Service Technician repairing and upgrading automated pedestrian doors for ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. Diagnosing electro-mechanical systems and serving customers across Mississauga.
Responsibilities
Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations
Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic
Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring
Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors
Provide exceptional service at every interaction
Participate in training programs
Maintain AAADM certification
Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training
Requirements
Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring
Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork
Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, positioning, and installing door components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids, on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions as required
Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification
