- Senior Project Manager leading AI-enabled mobile and web application projects for Atimi Software. Managing budgets, delivery, client relationships, governance, and AI project-management practices.
Responsibilities
- Manage each project's scope and timeline, including change management
- Create and manage project budgets and forecasts; identify variances early and drive corrective action to protect project profitability while balancing client satisfaction
- Develop high-level and detailed schedules
- Work with client product owners to prioritize backlogs and new requests
- Facilitate client relationships and seek project expansions and extensions
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop, and implement mobile and web applications
- Identify, manage, and proactively resolve project risks
- Use AI to create and maintain project plans, work breakdown structures, milestones, dependencies, release plans, risk registers, assumption registers, issue registers, dependency registers, status reports, decision logs, and change requests
- Use AI to analyze delivery data, identify trends, explain variances, and draft actionable reporting
- Build reusable prompts, templates, and workflows for planning, reporting, and risk reviews
- Connect AI-supported workflows to project systems and documentation
- Use approved AI tools and workflows while protecting client and company information and remaining accountable for output accuracy and appropriateness
- Evaluate new AI tools and workflows
- Automate appropriate steps, such as drafting status reports from delivery data and extracting actions from approved meeting records
- Recognize inaccurate outputs, missing dependencies, unrealistic estimates, and unsupported conclusions
- Serve as the point of contact for external communications with clients and stakeholders
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Build a productive environment where team members own the product and enjoy working on it
- Seek improvement opportunities and suggest new projects
- Help establish governance and a working PMO
- Mentor project managers and help establish consistent planning, financial management, reporting, and delivery practices across the department
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate client training on the practical use of AI in project management
- Initially join as Senior Project Manager, with potential promotion to Director of Project Management upon demonstrating required leadership and performance
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Project Manager using Software Development Life Cycle best practices
- 10+ years experience in Portfolio, Project, or Program Management
- Demonstrated use of at least one of ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft 365 Copilot to produce project plans, risk registers, status reports, and KPI definitions
- Strong ability to use AI to build budget forecasts, resource plans, and KPI reporting; check formulas; and validate AI-generated analysis
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts, including definition of done, automated testing, and backlog refinement
- Good knowledge of Agile frameworks, waterfall, and iterative project methodologies
- Experience managing projects involving AI, machine learning, data science, or automation
- Understanding of the AI/ML development lifecycle, including data preparation, model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including software developers, data engineers, data scientists, and ML engineers
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience facilitating client workshops or delivering professional training
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and similar products
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Communication and team management skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar field
- Formal Project Management Certification: PMP, Prince2, Agile Certified
- Preferred: Experience working on 10+ man-year projects
- Preferred: Experience in a scrum master role
- Preferred: Reporting and visualisation experience using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools
- Preferred: Familiarity with TFS or Azure DevOps
