About the role
- Part-time Product Manager shaping AI-powered SaaS that connects frontline workers to government benefits. Owning discovery, delivery, integrations, and compliant automation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership, customers, and partners to refine product vision and strategy across a multi-tenant SaaS platform
- Conduct discovery sessions to validate customer needs, market opportunities, and program requirements
- Translate high-level business goals into actionable roadmaps with measurable impact
- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle with engineers, designers, and QA
- Break down complex workflows into clear, prioritized backlogs
- Use agile practices including scrum and kanban to run sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and timelines while balancing customer, technical, and compliance needs
- Prepare product briefs, release notes, and training materials
- Monitor feature performance and user behavior to inform iteration and optimization
- Integrate insights from analytics and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Segment, and QuickSight
- Track SaaS, benefits technology, and regulatory trends to guide innovation
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product management for SaaS platforms or B2B/B2C applications
- Experience building or managing AI-powered or AI-integrated products
- Proven track record of delivering complex products, ideally in multi-tenant, API-driven, or compliance-sensitive environments
- Experience delivering AI/GenAI features end-to-end, including products leveraging LLMs, document processing, intelligent automation, or conversational interfaces
- Working knowledge of LLM capabilities and tradeoffs (accuracy, latency, cost, reliability)
- Experience defining requirements, evaluation metrics, and iteration strategies for AI-driven features
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering and data teams to integrate model APIs and AI services into production systems
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, and operations teams
- Experience with agile/lean product development processes
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS), APIs, and data integrations (HRIS, payroll, third-party APIs), and automation workflows
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
