About the role
- Product Owner responsible for managing the product backlog and driving healthcare EMR software improvements at Ava Industries. Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and enhance user experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring work is prioritized according to business value and customer impact.
- Contribute to issue management in both Hubspot and Github
- Thoroughly comprehend and investigate product feedback from end users of Ava products
- Distill feedback to create product requirements for bugs and feature requests
- Provide relevant stakeholders with follow up information on their tickets
- Facilitate ticket related meetings
- Plan and coordinate upcoming releases
- Maintain release documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders
- Gather and report monthly metrics
- Help guide projects from concept to delivery in collaboration with other team members
- Contribute to and support process documentation
- Support a culture of continuous improvement through collaboration, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar product-focused role.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, GitHub, HubSpot, or similar platforms is considered an asset.
- Healthcare, health technology, or regulated-industry experience is considered a strong asset but is not required.
