Responsibilities
- Review and analyze policies, appraisals, and technical reports to assess claim value and negotiate fair settlements.
- Manage an active caseload of claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Create outstanding experiences for our customers.
- Make independent decisions to resolve claims efficiently.
- Maintain detailed, accurate file records and adhere to Aviva Specialty Claims protocols.
- Work closely with various teams to produce good claims outcomes and contribute to projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2+ years of previous claims adjusting experience.
- Passionate about Lifestyle claims—watercraft, RV’s, or travel trailers.
- Progress toward or completion of the Insurance Institute Program (CIP/FCIP).
- A post-secondary diploma or degree.
- Provincial Licenses for the Atlantic provinces.
- Experience with complex and high value claims.
