About the role
- Claims Review Paralegal reviewing complex bilingual claims and legal documents. Supporting Fortune 500 clients through Axiom’s alternative legal services and AI-enabled legal talent platform.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate claims for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable policies, contracts, and legal standards
- Analyze complex and legacy claims, including incomplete, technical, or difficult-to-interpret historical files
- Conduct detailed document review in French and English
- Perform discovery-related tasks, including document review, issue spotting, and organizing materials for legal proceedings
- Execute privilege review to identify and categorize protected or confidential documents
- Provide legal support to Fortune 500 clients
Requirements
- 2+ years of claims, investigations, or employment experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple departments
- Strong attention to detail for document-heavy review work
- Ability to handle sensitive subject matters
- Legal review or claims processing background
- Must be located in Ontario
- Bilingual fluency in French and English
- Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check, proof of identity, and necessary legal authorization to work
