About the role

  • Manager in BDO’s Digital, Data & AI Strategy & Transformation practice. Leading engagements and driving strategies to enable digital transformation for Canadian organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of end-to-end digital, data & AI strategy and transformation engagements
  • Lead project delivery and ensure high-quality outcomes within budget and timeline
  • Drive client relationship development and identify follow-on opportunities for growth
  • Support or lead proposal development and pitch activities
  • Advise senior client stakeholders on opportunity areas, target operating models, and execution paths
  • Facilitate strategic discovery sessions, synthesizing business, technology, and data insights
  • Build actionable transformation roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans
  • Analyze current-state capabilities (process, data, and technology) and provide pragmatic informed guidance
  • Deliver executive-level presentations and facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams
  • Act as a thought partner internally and externally — bringing forward new ideas, frameworks, and points of view
  • Mentor and coach junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence
  • Help establish “capability” & “practice” as we grow and scale our impact

Requirements

  • 5+ years of mgmt. consulting or technology advisory experience (client-facing role)
  • Track record of delivering measurable impact (e.g., cost savings, efficiency gains, CX improvements)
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders (VP/C-Suite) on strategic digital, data, or AI initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing project teams, mentoring junior staff, and leading client interactions
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change
  • Demonstrated experience in leading or contributing to full-cycle digital, data, or AI-enabled transformation programs
  • Deep understanding of digital strategy principles, data and analytics capabilities, and AI applications in business
  • Strong business process analysis and stakeholder engagement capabilities across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience with roadmap and business case development, solution optioning, and operating model design
