About the role
- Claims Adjuster managing insurance claims for individuals and businesses. Evaluating damages, coordinating with various stakeholders, and authorizing claims settlements.
Responsibilities
- Integrate into the Property Claims team, support and review
- Process and ensure continuity of claim files
- Conduct necessary investigations on claims files
- Assess the extent of damages and prepare estimates
- Coordinate activities of various stakeholders
- Make decisions on claims payments
- Verify invoices submitted by policyholders and suppliers
- Determine indemnities according to the insurance contract
- Identify potentially fraudulent files
- Assess recovery possibilities
- Authorize claim settlements
- Provide recommendations to personal insurance management
Requirements
- DEC or AEC in insurance, claims settlement specialization
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an external claims adjuster
- P.A.A. designation or in the process of obtaining it
- License in commercial insurance
- Available to provide 24-hour claims service
- Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
