About the role
- Claims Adjuster managing litigated cases and collaborating with lawyers to resolve claims at Beneva. Providing expert guidance on insurance coverage and claim negotiations in various contexts.
Responsibilities
- Carry out activities related to the management of litigated cases
- Collaborate with investigation teams to determine liability and the extent of damages
- Ensure regular follow-up on files entrusted to independent experts
- Draft external communications addressed to clients and service providers
- Negotiate the settlement of litigated claims for which they are responsible
Requirements
- Claims expert certificate (personal and commercial lines) issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in property and casualty insurance claims settlement
- Strong knowledge of auto, home, commercial and liability insurance policies
- Strong writing skills
- Fluency in French and intermediate proficiency in English
