About the role

  • Strategic AI and data partner advising Beneva’s insurance and financial-services leadership. Aligning business priorities, governance, and transformation initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison with business and corporate functions within the Artificial Intelligence and Data (AI&D) Vice-Presidency
  • Act as a trusted advisor and influencer to senior leadership, supporting Beneva’s data and artificial intelligence ambitions
  • Contribute to strategic discussions aimed at maximizing the value of artificial intelligence and data initiatives
  • Establish and maintain formal and informal networks of influence
  • Foster stakeholder alignment and advance initiatives
  • Translate complex business needs into concrete value-creation opportunities
  • Mobilize the Vice-Presidency’s expertise and present clear recommendations to decision-making bodies
  • Provide strategic advice on large-scale initiatives and support the transformation of a business area through artificial intelligence and data
  • Align contributors and facilitate collaboration between the AI&D Vice-Presidency and the business area
  • Ensure cross-functional consistency among AI and data priorities
  • Coordinate and maintain an enterprise-wide view of the business area’s priorities
  • Advise and support the business area in developing maturity and autonomy within the federated hub-and-spoke model
  • Promote the AI&D Vice-Presidency’s activities and services
  • Participate in various internal committees, including committees composed of senior executives, as a representative of the AI&D Vice-Presidency
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of business realities, data, artificial intelligence, their governance, and the expertise required in the insurance industry
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and propose new approaches

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, data science, strategy, or a related field
  • At least ten (10) years of relevant experience in roles related to data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and data governance
  • Basic knowledge of business and corporate functions, including finance, legal, marketing, human resources, and others
  • Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written
  • Intermediate proficiency in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to interact with anglophone colleagues, partners, clients, or suppliers, or meet company growth objectives
