About the role

  • UX Director shaping player experience for 7 Days to Die at Behaviour Interactive. Leading UX initiatives to enhance usability and engagement in a complex live game.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end player experience across key flows
  • Define the UX/UI vision and establish the discipline's foundations
  • Be involved in UX architecture and directly execute design
  • Collaborate with Design, Production, Engineering, Product, and User Research teams
  • Implement scalable UX pipelines and design systems
  • Improve usability, retention, and long-term engagement

Requirements

  • 8+ years in UX, including 2+ years in leadership within game production
  • Proven ability to build UX foundations, pipelines, or teams
  • Expertise in UX architecture, player journeys, wireframing, and prototyping
  • Deep understanding of player behavior, usability, and accessibility
  • Strong product judgment informed by research and player feedback
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-disciplinary leadership
