About the role

  • BMO InvestorLine partner support specialist assisting Financial Planners and customers with investment accounts, transfers, and maintenance. Delivering bilingual French-English wealth-service guidance remotely across Canadian provinces.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional support to BMO Partners with inquiries, account openings, transfers, and ongoing account maintenance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Financial Planners, Private Bankers, Regional Sales Managers, and Branch Partners
  • Own and follow up on complex files and support Partners with investment-related services
  • Understand customer needs and deliver tailored wealth and investment-related solutions
  • Manage transactional outcomes and escalate unresolved or complex situations
  • Review and process documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain knowledge of investment markets, trends, and practices and integrate insights into customer conversations
  • Incorporate relevant marketing programs and promotions into customer interactions
  • Adhere to AML, terrorist financing, FCAC consumer provisions, Privacy Act, and other regulatory requirements
  • Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering or other financial crimes
  • Initiate outbound calls when needed to resolve complex situations and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Complete diverse tasks within established guidelines and handle escalations from other employees

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in financial services or investment operations
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Strong knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services
  • Understanding of competitive market trends and product offerings
  • Familiarity with risk management and compliance practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingualism in French and English
  • Strong collaboration and team skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Fluency in French and English to support clients and team members inside or outside Quebec
