Senior Service Representative supporting BMO’s Canadian investment operations and stakeholder services. Processing transactions, reports, and escalations while maintaining regulatory and risk controls.
Responsibilities
Provide support and service for BMO’s Investment Operations function and business stakeholders/customers
Execute Investment product and service processes in accordance with financial and regulatory controls and operational guidelines
Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
Support change management execution and sustainment activities
Serve as a problem-solving resource for more junior staff
Organize work information for accuracy and completeness
Execute service requests, transactions, queries, and related routine tasks within SLAs
Process transactions and activities accurately and promptly in response to stakeholder requests
Respond accurately and knowledgeably to internal and external stakeholder questions and requests
Follow documented policies and procedures to meet SLAs
Check and reconcile information and documentation
Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations
Identify, analyze, resolve, or escalate issues and problems
Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships
Maintain understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks
Collaborate on new processes/systems and improvements to existing processes and systems
Support tool development and training delivery
Handle complex and diverse tasks and escalations
Apply BMO’s Risk Management Framework and make risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy and applicable policies, laws, and regulations
Requirements
Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience
Post-secondary degree in a related field of study desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience
Good knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology
Good knowledge and understanding of the business unit’s key products and services, processes and controls
Good knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements of the business
Good prioritization skills
