About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing international mining projects at Canary Systems. Responsible for project proposals, client management, and internal coordination in the mining sector.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project proposals, specifications, and designs
  • Manage project installations and client relationships
  • Manage subcontractors and Canary Systems staff
  • Prepare project documentation and reports
  • Assist with client technical support
  • Coordinate internal and external project resources
  • Prepare project/case histories for marketing and sales
  • Present project/case histories at conferences and client meetings

Requirements

  • Fluency in French and English is required
  • French: native or near-native proficiency strongly preferred
  • English proficiency required for internal and international coordination
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Software including database technologies (SQL, ODBC)
  • Geotechnical data reduction and presentation methods
  • Geotechnical instrumentation applications and installation
  • Monitoring systems including electronics and software
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Survey technologies including robotics and GPS
