About the role
- Bilingual French Sales Associate selling Allianz travel insurance and supporting e-commerce customers. Providing quotes, closing sales, and managing customer policies by telephone.
Responsibilities
- Provide telephone support for e-commerce and insurance clients
- Identify customer needs and provide optimal or alternative product solutions
- Educate potential clients on insurance options
- Provide quotes and close sales
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and services
- Stay up to date on new product or policy changes
- Accurately enter pertinent customer data
- Make changes to existing policies
- Address customer concerns with empathy and move customers toward commitment
- Use AI, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools responsibly
Requirements
- Six (6) to twelve (12) months in a customer service or sales environment
- Post-secondary education is highly preferred
- Possess Accident and Sickness license or willing to become licensed
- Possess TICO certification or willing to become certified
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task
- Superb customer service skills and strong customer focus
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Fluency in French and English, written and spoken, is required
- Ability to work effectively with artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and cloud-based tools
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and ethical use standards
