About the role
- Product Owner at Consat Telematics bridging North American client needs with Swedish development teams. Driving product delivery and ensuring scalable software solutions that create business value.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and support our software and various systems for customers in Canada and the USA
- Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to partners and local staff
- Participate in product development meetings with developers based in Sweden
- Act as a liaison between North American customers' needs and Swedish developers
- Translate technical documents from Swedish to English for the North American market
- Develop and execute software policy verification and testing for our systems in Canada and the USA
- Communicate and negotiate with customers to analyze their requirements
- Prepare proposals to meet the business needs and requirements of current and prospective customers and partners in the Canadian and U.S. markets
- Assign technical work and integrate Consat Canada Inc. software products with third-party systems and perform related reviews
- Analyze, design and implement software solutions
- Provide post-sales technical support to local partners
- Transfer knowledge of Canadian and U.S. market standards, regulations and structures to Consat
- Manage distribution teams and engineers for systems in Canada and the USA
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and public transit operations and planning
- Proficiency in Python, Java, PL/SQL and C++
- Extensive expertise with Consat Telematics' Fleet Studio and Traffic Studio
- Excellent spoken and written English and Swedish skills
- Knowledge of French is an advantage
