About the role
- CG Supervisor leading creative VFX projects and collaborating with world-class talent at Untold Studios. Managing execution, mentoring teams, and ensuring high-quality output in a hybrid setting.
Responsibilities
- Managing all aspects of the execution of the CG on your show, from methodologies, scheduling through to execution and the handover to Compositing
- Work closely with the Compositing Supervisor on your show to ensure a smooth handover from CG to Compositing
- Effectively managing expectations both internally, and working with the VFX Supervisor or Creative Director for client side expectations on your show
- Working with the Heads of our CG departments and Pipeline to ensure studio-approved methodologies are either used or extended on your project
- Regularly reviewing artist work and providing feedback and direction where needed
- Collaborating with Clients and Directors to create an environment that breeds the highest quality work
- Mentoring artists through a project and beyond.
- Being an ambassador for Untold Studios through attending industry events, producing publications, public speaking and outreach opportunities.
Requirements
- History of delivering creative VFX work of the highest calibre
- Leading projects from beginning to end
- Deep working knowledge of a range of industry-standard workflows and software
- Provide creative and technical support to your teams
- Apply new technologies when applicable.
