About the role
- Project Coordinator assisting in construction processes with Clark Builders. Involved in project startups, execution, and closeout responsibilities for construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Supporting in project startups with responsibilities including but not limited to tendering and bid evaluations, subcontract preparation, utilities and site services applications, permit applications, quantity take-offs, assisting in development of the project communication plan and managing project schedule
- Project execution and document control responsibilities including Request for Information (RFI), Site Instructions (SI), Submittals, Change Requests (CRX), Change Orders (CO)
- Project closeout responsibilities including assisting with inspections, owner training, managing the O&M Manuals, reviewing, tracking and communicating punch and deficiency lists, removing all insurance, closeout of utilities and site services, and removing temporary facilities
- Maintain the integrity of the QA/QC plan
- Facilitate, record and compile meeting minutes; follow up on action items
- Track productivity and performance of the project
- Project accounting basics
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelors' degree, diploma or 2-year certificate in a construction related discipline
- Experience working as a Project Coordinator for a Commercial, Industrial, or Institutional Construction organization previously is an asset
- Experience with Procore® is an asset
- Experience with Last Planner® System is an asset
- Experience with collaborative pull planning is an asset
- Experience with various types of construction contracts is an asset
