About the role

Principal IT Security Project Manager leading enterprise cybersecurity initiatives for Bullhorn's SaaS platform. Managing security risks, compliance, and cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives and manage strategic security programs from planning to completion
Direct large-scale cross-functional security projects, including software hardening, identity management rollouts, cloud security implementations, and zero-trust implementations
Identify project risks, track vulnerabilities, and build mitigation plans to protect business assets
Communicate project progress, budgets, and security metrics to executive leadership and technical teams
Present progress in concise headlines and detailed technical detail
Manage solution planning calls and team workloads
Identify budget issues and needs
Ensure project milestones meet applicable regulatory standards, including SOC 2 and ISO 27001
Report directly to the CISO

8+ years of IT project management experience
At least 5 years focused specifically on cybersecurity or information security
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or a related field
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Security credential such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
Deep understanding of network security, endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and security frameworks
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for translating technical security risks into business language
Ability to work independently and self-motivated
Ability to work seamlessly with executives and engineers as needed
