About the role

  • Bilingual Nurse Navigator helping Canadians navigate healthcare and coordinate care through Kii Health’s healthcare solutions. Supporting members, providers, insurers, and case managers remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and support members with their healthcare needs
  • Help members navigate the Canadian healthcare system
  • Coordinate appointments, consultations, diagnostic testing, treatment, and follow-up care
  • Communicate with members, healthcare providers, insurers, case managers, and other stakeholders
  • Advocate for members and identify appropriate healthcare resources
  • Identify barriers to care and develop practical solutions
  • Explain healthcare processes, available resources, and next steps to members
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Manage multiple cases and priorities while meeting service expectations
  • Work collaboratively with the broader healthcare team
  • Participate in process improvements and service enhancements
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Current RN or RPN registration in good standing with the applicable regulatory college
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong computer and technology skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when working from home
  • Compassionate, member-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Dedicated private workspace required
  • Reliable high-speed internet required
  • Successful pre-employment screening required
  • Preferred: experience in disability management, case management, care coordination, or healthcare navigation
  • Preferred: mental health experience or additional mental health training
  • Preferred: experience working with insurers, employers, healthcare providers, or interdisciplinary teams
  • Preferred: experience with performance measures or service metrics
  • Bilingual in French and English considered an asset
