About the role
- Seasonal Soil Sampler collecting soil samples from customer fields for Corvian’s agricultural technology and soil testing services. Maintaining sample data and operating GPS and specialized equipment across rural Manitoba.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned rural locations and customer fields to take core soil samples
- Use GPS equipment, specialized sampling equipment, and company-provided vehicles
- Ensure quality control and accurately record sample data
- Communicate regularly with leadership about field conditions
- Administer and maintain the sampling database
- Operate motorized vehicles and specialized equipment safely
Requirements
- Valid driver's license for the designated province/state of employment
- Acceptable driving record consistent with Vehicle Use Policies
- Ability to carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to travel, often to rural areas
- Availability to work a combination of days, evenings, and/or weekends
- Some agricultural experience would be an asset
