About the role
- Mobile Mortgage Specialist building a referral-driven mortgage business for TD Canada Trust, Canada’s personal and small-business banking provider. Developing clients through realtor, builder, and financial-planner referrals.
Responsibilities
- Develop the mortgage business by targeting referrals from realtors, builders, financial planners, and other centers of influence
- Build sales skills and credit knowledge through targeted sales training
- Work closely with the Sales Manager through joint sales calls and monthly coaching sessions
- Use a sales management system designed for the sales channel
- Build and manage an individual mortgage business using TD’s brand
- Develop new business and customer relationships
- Flex work schedule to maintain work-life balance
Requirements
- Proven sales track record
- Strong capabilities to develop and maintain customer relationships
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and strategic approach to developing a customer base
- Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional sales skills
- Independent, self-managed professional
- Experience developing new business in a fast-paced, competitive market
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, networking, and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of retail banking and/or credit adjudication is ideal
- Post-secondary education preferred
