About the role

  • Group Service Representative administering group insurance plans and serving Desjardins members and clients. Managing large employer groups, client relationships, plan changes, and personalized insurance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build, serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients
  • Drive results by reviewing special requests and promoting and selling products and services based on client needs and business objectives
  • Analyze member/client needs and develop and implement personalized solutions
  • Ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality according to organizational standards and procedures
  • Manage a dedicated territory and related objectives
  • Handle groups greater than 50 employees
  • Support assigned clients by managing and administering group insurance plans
  • Establish and maintain client relationships by identifying current or potential needs and promoting client retention
  • Advise partners, stakeholders and clients about offered products, services and solutions and ensure their satisfaction
  • Analyze and respond to client needs, process requests and complete required follow-ups
  • Collect, organize and analyze information when adding or modifying plans
  • Present to clients and attend client meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in group insurance
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Intermediate experience handling large groups with 50+ members
  • Intermediate experience with hospitals or public sector
  • GBA/CEBS designation
  • Knowledge of Group Insurance Benefits
  • Knowledge of distribution network
  • Must have a valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Available for travel in the GTA area and surrounding area
