About the role

  • Data and AI Advisor supporting SAS platforms in a modern cloud environment. Implementing tools and processes to strengthen AI governance and capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Help define and implement AI-based tools to support SAS platform governance.
  • Provide oversight for analytics and artificial intelligence from a SAS governance perspective.
  • Work with the Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence to ensure compliance, responsible AI practices and governance across the data and analytical model lifecycle.
  • Assess and monitor model quality, bias and performance.
  • Advise and support business, analytics and IT teams.
  • Implement monitoring, audit and continuous improvement mechanisms.
  • Stay up to date on evolving practices, SAS capabilities and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop scripts and workflows to manage training data and prompts in the data lake.
  • Implement versioning, traceability and compliance mechanisms for models and their artifacts.
  • Work with data engineering teams to ensure our AI solutions are resilient and protect confidential information.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, AI or another related discipline
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience in machine learning
  • Significant experience in machine learning and developing AI models
  • Proven experience deploying and operationalizing AI models in cloud environments, including Azure
  • Strong command of AI and LLM frameworks and related practices (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI API)
  • Hands-on experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Azure Machine Learning, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Strong programming expertise (Python required, Java and Bash are considered assets)
  • Azure certification or proven ability to operate effectively in this ecosystem
  • Knowledge of French is required
