Responsibilities
- Support the project sponsor and oversee a work team involved in cross-sector projects and initiatives to ensure objectives are met
- Participate in all the different project phases, from design to rollout
- Identify goals, strategies and approaches, and coordinate efforts for large-scale, innovative projects
- Draw on expertise from multiple functional areas to support successful delivery
- Prepare reports and status updates for the project sponsor and other decision-making bodies
- Manage, monitor and communicate the roadmap and budget, and define and promote governance
- Identify and handle project issues and risks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Un minimum de six ans d’expérience pertinente in project management experience, delivering cross-functional initiatives in a regulated or financial services environment
- Advanced experience managing external vendors, partners and customers
- Advanced experience managing multiple parallel initiatives
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Demonstrated experience working on credit cards, payments or lending related initiatives, preferably within a credit union or banking environment
- Proven ability to manage external vendors, partners and customers
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives
