About the role
- Claims Analyst estimating damages and investigating suspicious and fraudulent property and casualty insurance claims for Desjardins. Improving processes, service quality, and loss ratios.
Responsibilities
- Assist with estimates and investigations for claims settlements
- Estimate damages and ensure quotes from independent experts comply with organizational standards and processes for major claims
- Investigate complex suspicious and fraudulent claims
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of the line of business to claims
- Suggest ways to improve processes, methods and tools to optimize service quality and loss ratios
- Help develop and oversee competency plans to provide an unparalleled client experience
- Limit damage, review provider estimates, and recommend courses of action based on procedures and quality standards
- Analyze claim circumstances and gather relevant information for investigations
- Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the Trois-Rivières and Montréal regions
