Responsibilities
- Own Shopify development projects from initial client conversations through launch
- Translate business needs into clear scopes, actionable plans, and high-quality deliverables
- Conduct project intake with clients regarding design ideas, content, and requirements
- Build project scopes and cost estimates using existing templates
- Define problems, identify stakeholders, and create plans for projects without established processes
- Review development work for quality assurance before client delivery
- Manage client communications via email, Slack, and live calls, including requirements, feedback, and approvals
- Coordinate Shopify theme upgrades, custom Shopify app builds, Shopify site design and Liquid builds, Shopify Hydrogen headless development, landing page and SEO updates, and custom conversion tracking and reporting solutions
- Manage 8 to 13 projects simultaneously
- Keep projects moving consistently through launch and communicate timeline and release constraints to clients and developers
Requirements
- Deep experience with enterprise-level Shopify projects, including themes, settings, the app ecosystem, and how the whole thing fits together
- Experience managing a team of developers and talking to clients directly, not through an account manager
- Very comfortable in Asana
- Product feeds and building feed connections into Google Merchant Center and Meta Ads (helpful, not required)
- Conversion tracking for ecommerce and B2B (helpful, not required)
