About the role
- Senior Project Manager leading complex Microsoft ERP, CRM, and cloud transformation engagements for Hitachi Solutions. Driving delivery governance, financial control, and client outcomes across global teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects aligned with organizational objectives and client business outcomes
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, change management, and baseline control
- Establish ownership, decision rights, communications cadence, project goals, success criteria, and priority trade-offs with client and internal stakeholders
- Facilitate risk, issue, and dependency management with proactive mitigation, get-to-green actions, business-impact clarity, and early escalation
- Apply Hitachi Solutions delivery methodology, stage gates, project health reviews, and standard delivery practices
- Manage project budgets of $10M+ through forecasting, budget-vs-actual review, estimate-at-complete awareness, margin protection, and financial variance actions
- Identify scope movement, lead re-estimation, and estimate, create, and deliver Change Orders
- Lead or support Steering Committee governance, stage-gate readiness, executive status reporting, decision management, and value/outcome alignment
- Communicate progress, risks, decisions, delivery challenges, and corrective actions to customers and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to PMO and Delivery Excellence process improvement through lessons learned and reusable delivery practices
- Provide project escalation support, establish accountability, coach delivery behaviors, resolve conflicts, and address capability or execution gaps
- Lead teams through ambiguity, drive timely decisions, balance competing priorities, and reinforce execution discipline
Requirements
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional services project management experience
- Proven project management experience implementing ERP, CRM, Dynamics 365, and/or broader cloud solutions in a client-facing consulting environment
- Proven experience managing multi-platform, multi-workstream projects across onshore, offshore, client, and delivery teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, business and IT executives, customers, vendors, and internal delivery leadership
- Strong business acumen, commercial judgement, stakeholder leadership, and team leadership
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, CPM, Waterfall, hybrid delivery, and standard governance controls
- Proven success delivering measurable project outcomes in a consulting environment
- Proven success leading teams of 20+ consultants across multiple time zones, including offshore resources
- Minimum 5–10 years ERP implementation experience
- Minimum 5 years consultancy implementation partner experience
- Demonstrated project controls expertise, including project plans, scope, schedule and budget baselines, progress and financial performance tracking, variance analysis, and corrective actions
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, Business Management, or related field (preferred)
- PMP certification (preferred)
- Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, and project delivery tooling
- Expertise in schedule management, critical path analysis, baseline control, forecasting, and project controls
- Experience with Power BI and KPI-driven delivery management
- Experience managing project financials including EACs, margin management, variance analysis, and commercial forecasting
- Experience leading executive governance, project health reviews, and stage-gate processes
- Experience delivering Microsoft cloud, ERP, CRM, or digital transformation programs
- CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or equivalent agile delivery certification (preferred)
