About the role
- AI Automation & Digital Workforce Specialist leading AI implementation at Enkel, a cloud-based financial operations firm, enhancing workflows and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of AI agents across our operations
- Work closely with operations leaders, finance teams, and leadership to identify inefficiencies, redesign workflows, and build intelligent agents
- Build AI agents for bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, month-end close, reporting, and financial operations workflows
- Create intelligent systems capable of performing multi-step operational tasks with human oversight
- Work closely with operational teams to deeply understand existing workflows
- Identify inefficiencies, repetitive tasks, bottlenecks, and quality gaps
- Redesign processes using AI, automation, orchestration tools, and intelligent workflow systems
- Build integrations across platforms including QuickBooks Online, Xero, Dext, Plooto, and Karbon
- Create frameworks for agent monitoring, escalation management, audit trails, quality assurance, and workflow orchestration
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, AI systems, automation, or related technical fields
- Strong experience building AI agents, intelligent automations, or workflow orchestration systems
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and operational software platforms
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks
- Strong systems thinking and process design capabilities
- Ability to translate operational problems into scalable technical solutions
