About the role
- Scrum Master guiding agile teams at FCC to enhance project delivery and foster Agile principles. Collaborating through coaching and mentorship to improve team dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Support teams as they reflect, adapt and continuously improve
- Promote the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile principles and Scrum and Kanban practices through coaching, mentorship and training of cross-functional delivery teams
- Facilitate team events, meetings, and workshops
- Support Product Owners and teams to define and develop innovative processes and improve how they deliver value
- Remove and/or escalate team delivery impediments
- Assess the adoption of Agile principles and provide feedback to guide growth and ensure alignment with Agile goals
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, education, social science or psychology
- Minimum five years of experience in technology, innovation or a related field
- Proven knowledge and understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) with deep understanding of Agile principles
- Demonstrated ability to influence behaviours beyond frameworks or checklists
- Practical experience running core Scrum events (daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews/demos, retrospectives) with documented outcomes
- Experience analyzing and resolving a wide range of impediments that are strategic, divisional or technical in nature
- Research-informed exposure to Agile practices in diverse contexts (technology, innovation or similar environments)
